This article selects vocational college teachers with rich experience in digital teaching innovation as samples. Based on the two major driving forces of“student needs and vocational education environment”, namely domestic demand and extrapolation, and the three-stage improvement path of“basic requirements, ability enhancement, and development goals”, it forms the practical results of digital teaching innovation with four cores:“core teaching objectives, core teaching resources, core teaching tasks, and core teaching evaluation”. In order to implement the vocational education reform implementation plan, the teaching content of linux operating system was reconstructed through the“classroom innovations”approach in vocational computer education under the“four integrations, five progressions, and three joint cultivations”teaching model. A virtual machine experiment environment was set up for project combat tasks to create a“useful”classroom. By creating scenarios, roles, and task-driven learning methods, combining actual enterprise cases for combat exercises and skill competition training, the teaching process was optimized to create an “interesting”classroom. Student assistants and enterprise teachers were selected, and online teaching resources were utilized to innovate the teaching team, creating an“informative”classroom. Through multi-dimensional teaching evaluation by teachers, students, and enterprise mentors, a“multi-process, multi-subject, and multi-dimensional” evaluation system was established to create an“effective”classroom. Strengthening career counseling for college students is a powerful measure to enhance the educational power of universities. This is of great significance for better realizing the individual and social value of higher education. However, there are still issues to be addressed, such as the need to strengthen the concept of career counseling in schools, awaken students'awareness of career counseling, improve the quality of career counseling for teachers, and integrate social career counseling resources. It limits the effectiveness of career counseling for college students, which is not conducive to better promoting the improvement of university education and realizing the value of higher education. From the perspective of realizing educational value, it is an inevitable action choice for universities to improve the effectiveness of career counseling for college students and enhance the educational power of universities from four aspects: updating concepts, reconstructing cognition, cultivating qualities, and integrating resources.
