New Model for Cultivating Talents in Urban Underground Space Engineering under the Background of Engineering Education Certification—Case Study of Fujian University of Technology

Abstract: The Urban Underground Space Engineering major is an emerging major that emerged to adapt to the new characteristics of urban construction in the new era. After years of professional construction, Fujian University of Technology has deeply developed the talent training goals, curriculum system construction, and continuous optimization of talent training plans in practice and teaching. Based on the background of engineering education certification, this article analyzes the main problems in the training of urban underground space engineering professionals, the reform measures, and the reform effectiveness. A new training model suitable for professional development has been formed, and certain results have been achieved. It provides certain reference value for the construction of the new training model of urban underground space engineering professionals in similar universities.
