Abstract: Python programming is a fundamental course that cultivates the programming ability and logical thinking of non computer major undergraduate students. The article proposes a new approach to the construction of Python programming courses based on the CDIO teaching mode, targeting the characteristics of the intelligent perception engineering major at Jilin University. In the teaching process, project practice and theoretical learning are organically integrated, encouraging students to explore independently, learn knowledge from practice, cultivate their problem-solving ability, stimulate their interest in programming, improve their self-learning ability, logical thinking ability, and communication ability, and cultivate skilled applied talents for society.
