    Academic master's students focus on academic research and innovation capabilities, and are an important force in economic construction and social development. This paper takes academic master's students from financial and economic universities as the survey subjects, and analyzes the research innovation ability and influencing factors of graduate students based on questionnaire survey data. The results indicate that the overall innovation ability of academic master's students is not strong, and there are significant differences in innovation ability among master's students in different majors. Individuals, mentors, courses, and schools are important factors that affect graduate students’innovation ability. Based on this, relevant suggestions are proposed on how to enhance the innovation ability of academic master's students.

    Based on the innovative idea of new engineering, it is very important to reform and practice the course of professional English for metallurgical engineering. In view of the existing teaching problems and assessment methods of metallurgical engineering professional English in School of Iron and Steel of Soochow University, the reform and practice are carried out from teaching ideas, teaching content and assessment methods, and a set of effective teaching programs for cultivating metallurgical professionals with high scientific research quality are explored. Based on the individual differences of students, reconstruct the four levels of teaching content of“understanding + comprehend + mastery + application”, present the requirements of knowledge structure and ability structure through the integration of online and offline and project-driven diversified mixed teaching mode, and form a combination of“phased + comprehensive”assessment and evaluation mechanism to promote mutual evaluation between learning and teaching, in order to achieve the optimization and construction of the curriculum.     ObjectiveTo adapt to the construction of new medical science, cultivate compound talents and enhance students'innovation ability, this study tried to use SPOC-based maker teaching mode in internal medicine nursing teaching, discuss and analyze the application effect of this mode. MethodsA total of 120 students from 2 classes of 2021 nursing major in a school were randomly selected, among which 1 class had 60 students as the experimental group and adopted SPOC maker education mode, while the other class had 60 students as the control group and adopted traditional teaching mode. The teaching effects of the two groups were observed and compared. ResultsThe theoretical scores, operational scores and teaching satisfaction of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (p<0.05), indicating that SPOC maker teaching model could improve students'teaching satisfaction, cultivate students'innovation consciousness, and improve the teaching effect of internal medicine nursing.

    In allusion to graduates’employment difficulty, this paper constructs“3+6”career guidance course system biased by career adaptability, to which statistical analysis is performed pre and post course through paired Ttest. The result shows that the course, to some extent, enhances career adaptability, especially in career curiosity, career confidence, career interpersonal and career adjustment, but not in career concern and career control.
