The Application of Task-Based Cooperative Learning Mode into Blended College English Teaching

Abstract: Currently, with the widespread application of blended learning mode into college English teaching, some problems have gradually become prominent, such as poor effectiveness of in-class group activities, lack of connection between pre-class and in-class learning tasks, and inadequate effectiveness of students’online autonomous learning. To address these issues, a task-based cooperative learning mode can be constructed under the guidance of task-based language teaching and cooperative learning theory. With the new mode, by scientifically dividing learning groups, comprehensively improving the quality of the task designs, and constructing the complete supervision mechanism and evaluating mechanism, the effectiveness of students’online and offline learning will be improved.
