Research training is an important way to cultivate undergraduate students with comprehensive and innovative abilities. This article focuses on undergraduate students from A University, a local university in South China, and uses a questionnaire survey method to analyze the basic situation of undergraduate students' participation in scientific research and its impact on career planning. It identifies key factors that promote and hinder undergraduate students'scientific research. The study shows: the proportion of undergraduate students participating in scientific research is relatively high, but cooperative participation in an assistant role is the main mode; The main factor that restricts undergraduate students'participation in scientific research is the lack of perception channels for participation; Participation in scientific research experiences has an important influence on career planning direction, increases the willingness of students to take postgraduate entrance exams. Universities should strengthen the popularization and academic guidance of undergraduate students' scientific research, enrich students'perception channels for participating in scientific research, and enhance the output quantity, level of undergraduate students in scientific research achievements.

This article uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to conduct a sampling survey on the current status of innovation and entrepreneurship education in six universities in Guangdong. The survey found that students' demand for innovation and entrepreneurship teaching methods is showing a diversified trend, and innovation and entrepreneurship theory teaching has not been closely integrated with practice; the experience of innovation and entrepreneurship teachers is relatively rich, and the teaching staff needs to be further expanded; universities have generally established maker space, and the degree of specialization in project incubation is not high; students have high satisfaction with innovation and entrepreneurship education, and their willingness to start a business is greatly influenced by funding. Therefore, this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as building an experiential innovation and entrepreneurship education system, creating a teaching team that combines professional and part-time teachers, enhancing the connection between incubation projects and market funds, and building a government enterprise university trinity support system.
