    Higher education in our country shoulders the responsibility of cultivating the builders and successors of socialist cause with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, beauty and labor. As an important force of higher education, many application-oriented private undergraduate colleges and universities practice the concept of "student-oriented, teaching in accordance with their aptitude", as they vigorously promote the "credit system" teaching reform, innovate student management mode, and promote the formation of a new pattern of education work. However, under the credit system, private colleges and universities are confronted with such challenges as lagging educational management concepts, imperfect management mechanism, urgent need to improve the level of management team, and unscientific management content and form.     The new era brings more opportunities to the hotel industry. As an international hotel group, intercontinental hotels group has been rooted in China for more than 30 years, and its corporate culture of hospitality is deeply sought after. Intercontinental talent college is responsible for training high-quality talents in the hotel industry. However, the low professional identity of students in intercontinental talent class leads to a high industry turnover rate. Through questionnaire survey and interview, the factors affecting students' career identity were found: students' understanding of themselves and their major, students' understanding of intercontinental group, the depth of school-enterprise cooperation, the coverage of enterprise scholarship and the leading power of outstanding alumni.
