Study on the Influencing Factors and Countermeasures of Professional Identity of Higher Vocational Ordered Class Students——Taking the Intercontinental Talent Class of Nanjing Tourism Vocational College as an Example

Abstract: The new era brings more opportunities to the hotel industry. As an international hotel group, intercontinental hotels group has been rooted in China for more than 30 years, and its corporate culture of hospitality is deeply sought after. Intercontinental talent college is responsible for training high-quality talents in the hotel industry. However, the low professional identity of students in intercontinental talent class leads to a high industry turnover rate. Through questionnaire survey and interview, the factors affecting students' career identity were found: students' understanding of themselves and their major, students' understanding of intercontinental group, the depth of school-enterprise cooperation, the coverage of enterprise scholarship and the leading power of outstanding alumni. Therefore, only by strengthening students' objective understanding of themselves and enterprises, further integration between the university and the enterprise, and encouraging more students with excellent character and learning through enterprise scholarship, and giving play to the role of excellent alumni, can we help students build a strong sense of professional identity and form a new situation of chasing after each other.
