To meet the training requirements of innovative professional talents, innovative courses are generally set in the undergraduate professional teaching program. To develop the innovation course system towards the innovative ability of undergraduate, in this paper, the processes of the development and practice of a teaching pattern for "Professional Scientific and Technological Innovation Guidance and Training" of the major of Hydrology and Resource Engineering, was adopted as a case study. The importance of the student subjectively participated the practical teaching process, which was emphasized. An investigation and evaluation for the course effects had been carried out. The results indicated that the teaching pattern of “Professional Scientific and Technological Innovation Guidance and Training” was widely accepted as the students subjectively participated; and the teaching pattern of this kind promoted the cultivation of innovation ability, scientific research interest and practice ability of the undergraduates. This paper is expected to provide the references for scientific development and implementation of the professional innovation courses system towards training the innovative ability of the undergraduate.

Forty-six students who had practiced general surgery in Affiliated Hospital of Jilin Medical University were selected as study subjects, all from January 2019 to April 2020, they were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 23 cases in each group. Traditional teaching and interactive joint questioning teaching were carried out respectively in the teaching rounds, and the test scores, comprehensive ability and teaching satisfaction of the two groups were compared. The results showed that the scores of theoretical knowledge and operation skills in the study group were higher than those in the control group (

<0.05); the scores of innovation ability, active learning ability and emergency response ability of the research group were higher than those of the control group (
