Research on Countermeasures to Improve the Core Quality of Secondary Vocational Tourism Management Majors Oriented by Skill Competition

Abstract: In recent years, vocational schools pay more and more attention to the cultivation of students' core literacy, and skills competition plays a significant role in improving students' core literacy. This paper discusses the measures to improve the core quality of Secondary Vocational Tourism Management Students Guided by skills competition. By setting up typical examples, we can stimulate students' competitive consciousness and strengthen the construction of teaching staff. By holding different types of competitions, we can stimulate students' innovative thinking ability and emotional coordination ability, strengthen school enterprise cooperation, and improve the practical experience of students' skills competition. From the aspects of physiology, psychology, knowledge and skills and scientific literacy, we can promote the comprehensive development of students and enhance their core literacy.
