A New Model for Cultivation of Internationalized Interdisciplinary Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents in Polytechnic University——Taking Northwestern Polytechnical University as An Example

Abstract: In the“Mass entrepreneurship and innovation” background, high education became the important base to develop entrepreneurial and innovative talents. In order to cultivate internationalized interdisciplinary talents with specialized knowledge, management skills and practical capability, the project team of the Northwestern Polytechnical University designed and implement a new talents cultivation model based on ten years’ exploration and practice. The model is: build the “management skill teaching+ project training” model of teaching, set up the multilevel practical platform which links work at selected spots with that in entire areas, form multidisciplinary internationalized teaching team which combined teachers from colleges and enterprises, and cultivate internationalized interdisciplinary innovative and entrepreneurial talents. It showed that the adoption of the model has very good results and the model has good promotional value.
