    Engineering practice is a key link in cultivating outstanding engineering talents. The reform of engineering practice ability evaluation is driven by three factors: the development of new quality productive forces, the deepening of education evaluation reform, and the improvement of the quality of independent training of engineering talents. At present, there are difficulties in the reform of engineering practice capability evaluation, such as the mismatch between the concept and demand, the mismatch between the model and the actual demands, and the insufficient feedback effect of the results. To compensate for the shortcomings of traditional evaluation methods, it is necessary to update the“way”of concepts, enhance the“technique”of methods, improve the“tool” of technology, go beyond the logical dimension of single evaluation, return to the evaluation paradigm of integrating science, industry, and education, and move towards the practical path of technological iteration, in order to comprehensively improve the evaluation level of undergraduate engineering practice ability.

    The construction effectiveness of high-level professional groups is the key to the success of the“China's high-level higher vocational schools and professional construction plan”(referred to as the“double high plan”). Constructing a comprehensive, objective, scientific and operable evaluation index system for professional groups is of great significance for guiding higher vocational colleges to implement professional group construction reforms and stimulating the vitality of professional group construction. Based on the CIPP evaluation model and on the basis of literature research, this paper forms 15 secondary indicators and 50 tertiary indicators from four dimensions of background, input, process and result, and constructs a quality evaluation system for professional group construction to provide a reference for cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents.

    Based on the analysis of the existing problems in the traditional talent training mode of applied schools, combined with the experience of school-enterprise joint training, this paper puts forward the“3+1”talent training mode of deep integration between schools and enterprises. Based on the training practice of applied talents of vehicle Talents, the paper expounds from the aspects of enterprise job demand, training system, teacher construction and institutional guarantee. Practice shows that students meet the needs of enterprise talents, good adaptability to the job, and have a good significance of promotion.
