Practical Study on the Cultivation of Translation Talents in Universities in the Background of Industry-Education Integration

Abstract: In the background of the new era and new humanities, cultivating new types of translation talents that are suitable for the development of various fields has become an important goal of teaching translation talents in various universities. Proficiency in translation, extensive practical experience, refined franslation skills, and strong professional ethics have become essential competencies that translation professionals must possess in the new era. However, from the perspective of the current situation of talent cultivation, there are still problems of disconnection between teaching and practice, insufficient application of knowledge, and the separation of learning and application. Cultivate“standard”interpreters and translators who are suitable for market and industry needs based on regional resources and school-based characteristics has become a new issue that urgently needs to be completed. This thesis explores the application of a new integrated model of“industry, learning and research”to promote the reform and upgrading of translation professional courses, cultivate top translation talents, and meet the demand for language service talents in the industry from the aspects of industry-education integration, school-enterprise cooperation, and translation practice.
