Abstract: Against the backdrop of the rapid development of new productive forces, higher education faces an urgent need for structural adjustments and innovative development in talent cultivation. In response, teachers and institutions can take three approaches: first, by strengthening education in technological innovation, they can cultivate high-level, self-reliant talents with new driving forces; second, by promoting the improvement of total factor productivity and facilitating industrial transformation, they can nurture interdisciplinary and applied talents; third, by focusing on new structures and sustainable development, they can develop talents with sustainable innovation capabilities.
