    Objective To explore the effect of core competence teaching model in undergraduate nursing practice teaching. Methods A total of 164 junior nursing students from four classes in 2017 were selected as the subjects. Four classes were randomly divided into two groups: Control Group and Observation Group, each group had two classes. The Control Group adopted the traditional practice teaching, the observation group adopted the core competence teaching model to carry out practice teaching, and compared the two groups'nursing core competence after practice teaching. Results The scores of clinical nursing ability, scientific research ability, interpersonal relationship and education ability in the control group were (19.47 ± 1.76),(18.92 ± 1.32),(18.03 ± 1.91) and (17.96 ± 2.04) respectively The scores of clinical nursing ability, scientific research ability, interpersonal relationship and education ability in the observation group were (23.46 ± 2.31),(20.24 ± 2.16),(23.05 ± 2.41) and (20.74 ± 2.06), respectively.     Based on the analysis of the current situation of College Students' English online learning in Yuxi Normal University, this paper summarizes the practical problems existing in the college students' English online learning. In order to improve the convenience of students' autonomous and self-help learning, based on modern multimedia and network learning platform, the WeChat public official account of I English learning station was established based on the concept of "Interesting, Innovating, Improving, Increasing" and completed the related questionnaire survey.     Taking Wenqing Road Primary School Library as an example, this paper collected quantitative and qualitative data to analyze attitudes and opinions of students, teachers and parents on library promoting English reading by using educational game. Finding indicated that educational, technological and social affordances of the game were able to be perceived by students, and students' reading interest has been greatly improved. In addition, participants' attitudes towards library promoting the game has been found to be strongly positive. In the end, three practical suggestions are outlined.
