It is the requirement of the times to help the poor college students to get better development. In the past, the aid work in Colleges and universities has achieved good results, but it also has some defects, such as "helping the poor is not helpful to their aspirations" and "helping the poor is difficult to help the weak". This paper uses the perspective of positive psychology to analyze the common psychological characteristics of poor college students, and explores the path of "supporting ambition" of poor college students, in order to make up for the defects of the previous college support work.
