With the development of higher education, engineering education plays an important role in the cultivation of professional talents. However, the cultivation of technical abilities in traditional engineering education is difficult to meet the increasingly complex needs of the current engineering field. Strengthening the cultivation of non-technical abilities is very important. However, there are difficulties in evaluating non-technical capabilities at present, and there is a relative lack of quantitative evaluation standards and specific evaluation methods. Faced with this challenge, this article takes communication skills in non-technical abilities in engineering education as the research object. By analyzing domestic and foreign certification standards, consulting references, and combining expert interviews, questionnaire surveys, and other methods to extract communication skills indicators, an evaluation system consisting of 3 secondary indicators and 12 tertiary indicators is constructed. The combination of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and analytic hierarchy process is used to construct an evaluation model, and the entire evaluation process is demonstrated with an example of student communication ability evaluation. The aim is to provide quantitative reference for engineering education professional certification, non-technical ability cultivation and evaluation, and to help improve the quality of engineering education.

The employment destination of college graduates is an important indicator for understanding the quality of student employment and talent cultivation, with multiple and complex influencing factors. This article dynamically tracks the growth and development data of three consecutive undergraduate students from a certain university, and uses machine learning classification algorithms and prediction models to accurately predict the graduation destinations of university students. Based on this, new ideas and methods for employment work of university students are explored. Research has shown that factors such as students'college entrance examination admission scores, total scholarships received, and semester GPA play an important role in predicting their ultimate destination. Based on this, the article provides corresponding countermeasures and effective suggestions for innovative research in university work.

Artificial intelligence, as an emerging technology, is triggering a global education revolution. The level of acceptance of artificial intelligence technology by teachers will directly affect the effectiveness of its application in educational practice. This article is based on the UTAUT model and uses two research methods, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview, to explore the acceptance and influencing factors of artificial intelligence technology among vocational English teachers. The study found that social influence, effort expectations, and convenience conditions have a significant positive effect on the acceptance, while perceived risk has a negative effect. The moderating effect of factors such as gender, teaching experience, and professional title is not significant. Based on the research results, suggestions are proposed to improve the acceptance of artificial intelligence technology among vocational English teachers.

Based on college English education, this study constructs a three-dimensional analytical model of“technology empowerment-learning reconstruction-educational innovation”. It verifies the impact of Large Language Models (LLMs) on students'learning methods through a combination of quantitative research and qualitative interviews. The experimental results show that students using LLMs are significantly superior to the traditional learning group in interdisciplinary knowledge transfer ability (t=3.21, P<0.01), learning efficiency (F=5.67, P<0.05) and resource utilization rate (χ2=12.45, P<0.001). At the same time, teacher interviews confirm that LLMs are reshaping teaching models and teacher-student relationships. This study proposes an educational model of“human-machine collaborative learning ecology”, providing an operable practical path for technology-empowered education.

From the perspective of the integration of“dual scenarios and four classrooms”, this study analyzed the influence mechanism of“dual scenarios and four classrooms”education implementation mode on students'innovation and entrepreneurship ability in higher vocational colleges by constructing a structural equation model, and tested the mediating role of teachers' comprehensive literacy. The research results show that the“dual scenarios and four classrooms”education method can significantly and positively affect students'innovation and entrepreneurship ability, and has an enhancing effect on teachers'comprehensive quality. Teachers'comprehensive quality plays a plays a significant partial mediating role in the formation of students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability. The research suggests that higher vocational colleges should enhance students'innovation and entrepreneurship ability by constructing an integrated knowledge system, honing compound practical skills, promoting project-based transformation and application, and creating a ubiquitous intelligent ecology.

Based on the concept of project-based learning (PBL), this study designs four parallel practical projects tailored to the course characteristics, enhancing students'engineering practice skills and innovative thinking through task-driven approaches. The project design is oriented toward real-world engineering problems, integrating simulation verification and teamwork while covering key knowledge points. During implementation, group-based, phased progression and a diversified evaluation system were adopted to optimize the teaching support framework. These include challenges in spatial cognition for students and a relatively weak practical component. Taking the curriculum reform of building architecture as an illustrative case, this paper endeavors to optimize the teaching model by integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. By means of literature analysis, teaching experiments, and investigations on school-enterprise cooperation, this study explores the application pathways of BIM in the theoretical instruction, practical training, and assessment of this course. In the context of deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education, university innovation and entrepreneurship practice education, as a critical means to cultivate students'innovative spirit and practical abilities, has gained increasingly strategic importance. However, university practice platforms generally face problems such as insufficient value integration, misalignment between supply and demand in empowerment, and inadequate validation of outcomes. Based on the whole life cycle of innovation and entrepreneurship projects, this study employs literature review, case analysis, and field research to systematically examine the issues and their causes in the construction models and operational mechanisms of current university practice platforms. From the perspectives of value guidance, incubation systems, and regional ecosystems, targeted optimization paths and countermeasures are proposed, aiming to provide theoretical references and practical guidance for enhancing the effectiveness of innovation and entrepreneurship education and promoting the successful transformation of project outcomes.

Guiding rural youth to return home and start businesses is a process of empowering the rural revitalization strategy, which has strategic value, educational value, and practical value. Amidst the global wave of digital transformation, the hotel industry faces unprecedented opportunities and challenges, placing higher demands on talent development in hotel management and digital operations programs at higher vocational colleges. Currently, this program's curriculum suffers from lagging digital content, lacks distinct regional characteristics, and inadequate coordination mechanisms. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a curriculum restructuring approach based on“job-course integration, digital intelligence integration, comprehensive education, and a spiral approach”. Through job demand research, curriculum reform, system construction, and continuous optimization, this paper reconstructs a curriculum system that is both practical and innovative, providing an effective solution for cultivating professionals adaptable to the development of the digital hotel industry.

Social entrepreneurship, as an emerging form of entrepreneurship that applies business thinking to solve social problems, is endowed with the dual function of“business sustainability + social value creation”. This article focuses on the practical path of social entrepreneurship education in agricultural and forestry universities in China in the new era, and reveals its current situation and problems based on the research method of ecosystem theory. Research has found that the“four modernizations”of fragmented curriculum, marginalization of teaching staff, shortage of resources, and single evaluation coexist, and the lack of institutional incentives is the core bottleneck. Based on this, a three-tier improvement path of“system institution practice” is proposed, including deepening the institutional construction of regional collaboration and resource integration, improving the internal transformation of organizational structure and education system in universities, and exploring practical paths for deepening social integration through innovative teaching models. The research provides theoretical references for subsequent cross regional and interdisciplinary research and university practice.

Under the background of national ecological civilization construction, interdisciplinary integration and the increasing demand for environmental protection talents in Guizhou Province, this paper takes Guiyang Information Technology College as the research object. Through conducting questionnaire surveys and on-site interviews with 376 graduates majoring in environmental engineering of the 2017-2021 grades of the college and more than 30 environmental protection companies inside and outside the province, the employment difficulties are analyzed. The results show that 52.85% of the graduates are engaged in work related to their major, with positions mainly concentrated in environmental monitoring and pollution prevention and control. However, they lack practical skills and on-site problem-solving abilities. 72.22% of enterprises need environmental protection talents. Enterprises place more emphasis on individual ability and professional knowledge, especially the ability to integrate disciplines. The main difficulties in employment are the disconnect, between the curriculum design and social demands, the insufficiency of students'comprehensive abilities, and the lack of career planning. Based on this, countermeasures such as optimizing the curriculum system, enhancing students'comprehensive abilities, and improving career planning are proposed, providing a reference for the revision of the training program of this major in this school.
