Abstract: In the context of the information age, this paper discusses how to effectively integrate the BOPPPS teaching mode (including the six links of lead-in, clear objectives, pre-test understanding, participation and interaction, post-test feedback and summary and promotion) into the blended teaching practice of engineering mathematics. The article first deeply analyzes the necessity of implementing this model in the current educational environment, and then elaborates the specific principles that should be followed in the implementation of this model, aiming to ensure the scientificity and effectiveness of teaching activities. Subsequently, this paper specifically discusses the implementation strategy of the blended teaching mode based on BOPPPS model in engineering mathematics, and constructs a new teaching system which can not only give full play to the flexibility and convenience of online learning resources, but also retain the deep interaction of offline classroom. The results show that this mode of blended teaching can not only greatly stimulate students'enthusiasm for learning, significantly improve their participation in the classroom, but also fundamentally improve the teaching quality of engineering mathematics, which provides a new idea and direction for the reform of higher education.
