Abstract: Given the problems of a single method, lagging content, weak practice, and one-sided evaluation in the traditional teaching of environmental monitoring course, a teaching mode of“classroom guidance-practical exercise-experimental enhancement”was proposed. By reconstructing the teaching objectives, strengthening the cultivation of knowledge and skills, innovative thinking and teamwork; upgrading the teaching content, integrating cutting-edge technology, designing comprehensive practice projects; reforming the teaching methodology, adopting heuristic teaching, project-driven method, and virtual simulation technology; and constructing a diversified evaluation system. This research is benefit to cultivate high-quality applied talents adapted to the development of the industry.
