Abstract: This paper addresses the contradiction between the rapid development of additive manufacturing and the relatively lagging classroom teaching in colleges and universities. Taking Huazhong University of Science and Technology as the research object, it explores how to effectively integrate the latest application achievements in the field of additive manufacturing into classroom theoretical teaching. By analyzing the problems existing in the current teaching mode, combining the OBE educational concept and the teaching method of integrating virtual and real, a three-stage teaching mode of“basic theory-virtual simulation-practical application”was constructed, and a teaching reform plan centered on project-driven and case teaching was proposed. Research shows that this innovative model can significantly enhance students'cognitive level, engineering practice ability and innovative thinking, providing an effective path for talent cultivation in the field of additive manufacturing.
