The talent training program is a concrete implementation program to achieve the goal of talent training, and also a program to guide the establishment of curriculum system and the implementation of teaching work. In the new round of English major teaching reform with the basic spirit of “quality-leading, diversified training and classified excellence”, we must start from optimizing talent training programs. Taking the 2016 talent training program for English majors of Civil Aviation University of China as an example, the author summarizes the problems existing in the implementation process and proposes that when revising the new talent training program, feasible training objectives should be set according to the needs of the industry. In the course system setting, the OBE concept should be taken as the guidance. Drawing lessons from the standard of engineering education certification, the curriculum system design is rationally planned and continuously optimized to push the reform of English major into depth.

The higher education in China has entered a new era, the construction of new engineering disciplines and first-class specialties are inseparable from the innovation and entrepreneurship education system, therefore, the training quality of innovation and entrepreneurship has become one of the critical assessments for independent colleges. Methods200 undergraduate nursing interns in a medical university were investigated by using the general information questionnaire, facts on aging quiz and Kogan’s attitudes toward old people scale. ResultsOnly 68% of the respondents indicated that they were willing to work in the elderly care institutions with combination of medical and nursing care. The respondent who was male, resident in rural area, the only child, with experience in caring for the elderly, selecting the nursing specialty as the first choice in the college entrance examination, considering that the geriatric nursing courses offered by the school were useful, and understanding well the elderly care institutions with combination of medical and nursing care, could have a stronger willingness to work in this kind of institutions (

<0.05). ConclusionThe willingness of undergraduate nursing interns to choose jobs in the elderly care institutions with combination of medical and nursing care needs to be improved.
