Abstract: With the rapid development of society, the Internet has gained a large space for development. China has entered the information age, and the education industry also needs to transform. Digital learning environment creates “flipped classroom”, which promotes the improvement of classroom quality and innovation of teaching. Under the educational background of “flipped classroom”, students can learn at any time through mobile devices, which once again emphasizes the principal role of students in class. At present, Internet learning resources are abundant, which lays a good foundation for students to improve their competitiveness. Based on this, this paper studies the “flipped classroom” in the digital learning environment. First, it explains the “flipped classroom” and discusses the necessity of implementing the “flipped classroom” in colleges and universities. Then the advantages of the current application of “flipped classroom” in colleges and universities are elaborated. Finally, based on the current teaching background, the optimization strategy of “flipped classroom” is explained.
