Abstract: The purpose of higher vocational education is to serve the local social and economic construction, so, if higher vocational colleges want to cultivate professional talents needed to serve the local social and economic construction, they are bound to need to integrate the characteristics of regional economy and culture. Only when the specialty setting and training objectives, curriculum system and content, teaching methods and patterns are connected with the local industrial needs, post professional ability standards and production process respectively, and the regional economy and culture are introduced into the campus and integrated into the whole process of talent training, can we cultivate professional talents with innovative and entrepreneurial spirit serving the local social and economic construction.
