The application of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in foreign language learning has significantly transformed learner's language learning methods through personalized instruction, real-time interaction and feedback, and cultural context immersion. However, the widespread adoption of generative AI has also sparked discussions concerning its impact on learner agency. This paper examines the use of generative AI in foreign language education and analyzes its potential effects on learner agency. It finds that unplanned and unstrategic use of AI could weaken learners'agency, potentially causing dependency and thereby reducing learning capabilities and outcomes. Therefore, this paper proposes strategies such as using AI as an auxiliary tool, combining it with traditional learning methods, and implementing self-assessment practices to help learners maintain their agency and creativity.

The dual drivers of emerging engineering education and Artificial Intelligence (AI) advancement have established a strategic framework for innovating pedagogical approaches to covalent bonding in crystalline structures. As a fundamental concept in solid-state physics, covalent bonding plays a pivotal role in understanding crystalline architectures and material properties. Current instructional methodologies, however, predominantly emphasize theoretical formula derivation while insufficiently integrating computational tools with practical applications. This study proposes an integrated framework that: constructs a knowledge graph for covalent bonding to visualize theoretical concepts and their logical relationships; implements the BOPPPS model; and develops intelligent teaching paradigms through multimodal resource integration, ultimately facilitating students'practical application and deeper understanding of covalent bonding principles.

As the digital transformation deepens, open education in higher education institutions has become a crucial front for reform and innovation in China's higher education system. Through a survey of digital literacy among faculty members at multiple universities, this paper reveals that while the overall digital literacy level of university teachers is generally sound and has largely adapted to the demands of digital teaching, significant shortcomings exist in areas such as advanced innovation, data integration, and interdisciplinary convergence. Furthermore, structural disparities within the faculty group are evident. To address these prominent issues, the paper proposes a systematic enhancement pathway encompassing tiered and categorized competency development, practice-oriented training, resource ecosystem optimization, establishment of incentive-constraint mechanisms, and strengthened digital security standards and compliance capabilities to drive comprehensive digital literacy advancement. This research provides theoretical foundations and practical guidance for deepening the competency structure of university faculty digital literacy and propelling the development of open education.

In response to the problems of disconnection between theory and practice, as well as the gap between teaching content and research demands in the training of large-scale instruments, a project-based training system centered on problem-oriented, technical decision-making and scientific research innovation has been constructed. Through the coordinated efforts of cognitive construction, decision-making training and innovative practice in three dimensions, a training model that links knowledge learning, skill improvement and outcome production has been formed. Driven by real research tasks, the principles of the instruments, operation norms and data analysis are integrated into project training, guiding students to shift from“parameter memorization”to“method design”, and from“step-by-step operation”to“demand-based decision-making”, establishing a systematic understanding of the relationship between sample characteristics, detection methods and data quality. Practical results show that students have significantly improved in core abilities such as safe operation of equipment and handling of complex scenarios, and some achievements have been transformed into technical standards or academic outputs. This system provides talent support for the efficient sharing of large-scale instruments, explores a high-level talent cultivation path that emphasizes both theory and practice, and integrates skills and innovation, and has promotional value.
