    Aiming at the outstanding problems facing the engineering talents cultivation of mechanical specialty in domestic colleges and universities, this paper takes the national major strategic demand as the guidance, takes the connotation construction of mechanical specialty as the breakthrough, deepens the integration of mechanical disciplines with other disciplines, and is based on the concept of combining scientific research drive with talent cultivation.“3+1+X”bachelor-master-doctor through training mode for mechanical specialty was explored. In view of the problems such as inadaptability of research direction and undergraduate professional knowledge, repetition of courses or teaching contents, improper connection of training links or courses to a certain extent, insufficient knowledge breadth and depth, etc., which bachelor-master-doctor has trained in all stages of“4+3+3”, combining the characteristics and discipline advantages of mechanical specialty, taking into account such links as theoretical courses, experimental courses, practice base training and international exchange, teaching and scientific research forces are optimized. The implementation path of the interdisciplinary and longitudinal progressive integrated course of mechanical specialty, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree has been constructed, which provides beneficial exploration for the reform of the pass-through talent training mode.

    With the development of higher mathematics course reform, it is imperative to construct a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of students' knowledge mastery and innovation ability. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to set up the evaluation model of higher mathematics course performance, and makes a comprehensive evaluation of 9 index factors under the three criteria of class performance, examination performance and extended performance, and the corresponding weights of each index factor were determined based on the questionnaire data of the students in the class. The results show that besides the final examination results, the course report, group discussion and participation in the competition have a higher influence on the students' comprehensive scores. On these grounds, some suggestions are put forward to promote the reform of course teaching and meet the training goal of applied talents.

    Extant research has not examined the trade-off between novelty and usefulness among university students under constraint contexts. This article constructs a constraint scenario composed of 8 constraint factors by using the research method of policy capture. Based on the data of 1 200 observations of 40 college students, the results of seemingly uncorrelated regression show that time constraint and financial resource constraint promote college students to pursue usefulness, but reduce their propensity to pursue novelty. Human resource constraints and task autonomy reduce college students' tendency to pursue usefulness; formalization reduces the tendency of pursuing novelty, but increases the tendency of pursuing usefulness. Task standards and outcome requirement prompt college students to pursue usefulness.

    Objective To explore the application effect of LOGBOOK teaching method in the training of orthopedic nursing students. Methods 60 orthopedics nursing students from the University Town Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into 30 nurses who received the traditional teaching method as the control group and 30 nurses who received the LOGBOOK teaching method as the observation group. Results The self-learning ability of nursing students in the two groups was compared. The scores of theoretical knowledge, operational skills and satisfaction with teaching mode of nursing students in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05).     The cultivation of college students' innovative ability is the important content of carrying out college students' ability cultivation. In the process of practical teaching, accelerating the reform of practical links and improving students' practical ability can achieve the purpose of deepening the reform of undergraduate teaching and comprehensively improving the teaching quality. The structural design competition can effectively cultivate the creative spirit, practical ability and teamwork consciousness of civil engineering students. Taking the title of the 15th National Undergraduate Structural Design Competition as an example, this paper carries on the force analysis of the structural system of the wooden tower, determines the modeling design and production scheme of the wooden tower structural model for the competition, summarizes the basic process and key points of Midas modeling analysis, which can provide reference for the design and production optimization of the tower structure for the participants in the structural competition in the future.
