Abstract: With the development of higher mathematics course reform, it is imperative to construct a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of students' knowledge mastery and innovation ability. This paper uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to set up the evaluation model of higher mathematics course performance, and makes a comprehensive evaluation of 9 index factors under the three criteria of class performance, examination performance and extended performance, and the corresponding weights of each index factor were determined based on the questionnaire data of the students in the class. The results show that besides the final examination results, the course report, group discussion and participation in the competition have a higher influence on the students' comprehensive scores. On these grounds, some suggestions are put forward to promote the reform of course teaching and meet the training goal of applied talents.
