Objective
To understand the teaching ability and training status of clinical medical teachers in S University, comprehensively grasp the ecological design of medical teachers' teaching development, explore the scientific training system of teachers' development, and improve teachers' teaching and academic ability.
Methods
On the basis of interviews with medical teachers and teaching administrators, a questionnaire was designed and 143 medical teachers were surveyed. The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0.
Results
Due to the busy clinical, teaching and scientific research work, the pressure of social services, and the imperfect training content, inadequate assessment, and imperfect incentive measures. Clinical medical teachers generally lack teaching design ability, insufficient application of methods. The total score of annual training satisfaction is 89.15 ± 13.12, of which the score of clinical post competence and frequency satisfaction of teaching innovation training is the lowest, 4.35 ± 0.85 (full score of 5). The training is student-centered, student development centered and learning effect centered, 4.55 ± 0.6 points (Full Score: 5 points).
Conclusion
The series of training on teaching promotion held by the Ministry of Medicine will help to update its educational and teaching concepts and improve its teaching and academic ability. In the future, it is necessary to make full use of the teacher development center as an effective platform to promote the teaching and academic level of teachers by building an international teaching exchange platform, strengthening the application of modern information technology, scientifically planning the teacher development and training system, and deepening the training, assessment and evaluation mechanism of teaching ability.
