The Evaluation of Bilingual Teaching Effect of Environmental Chemistry

Abstract: The bilingual teaching practice of professional courses has been carried out in Chinese Univevsities for many years and educational resources have become increasingly interconnected. Against this background, this paper takes bilingual teaching in environmental engineering courses as an example, with regards to students English proficiency, teacher-student interaction, teacher strength, and other aspects in the process of bilingual teaching, put forward a plan suitable for the evaluation of bilingual teaching effect and provides suggestions for optimizing bilingual teaching through questionnaire survey and result analysis. Through statistical comparison of the data from the survey results, this research analyzes the existing problems in various aspects in depth and makes specific suggestions. It provides ideas for the development of bilingual teaching.
