Abstract: This article uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to conduct a sampling survey on the current status of innovation and entrepreneurship education in six universities in Guangdong. The survey found that students' demand for innovation and entrepreneurship teaching methods is showing a diversified trend, and innovation and entrepreneurship theory teaching has not been closely integrated with practice; the experience of innovation and entrepreneurship teachers is relatively rich, and the teaching staff needs to be further expanded; universities have generally established maker space, and the degree of specialization in project incubation is not high; students have high satisfaction with innovation and entrepreneurship education, and their willingness to start a business is greatly influenced by funding. Therefore, this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions such as building an experiential innovation and entrepreneurship education system, creating a teaching team that combines professional and part-time teachers, enhancing the connection between incubation projects and market funds, and building a government enterprise university trinity support system.
