Implementation Strategies for the Integration of Teaching and Research in Applied Universities under the Background of Building a Strong Education Country

Abstract: In the process of building a strong education country, applied universities must accurately grasp their positioning and mission, deepen the integration of teaching and research, improve the quality of applied talent cultivation, promote collaborative innovation between industry, academia, and research, and serve local economic and social development. This article takes the requirements of building an education powerhouse for the development of applied universities as the starting point, elaborates on the role of integrating teaching and research, explores the main challenges currently faced, and proposes implementation strategies such as improving top-level design, establishing a coordination mechanism, building a collaborative platform, and improving assessment and evaluation. It has important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the integration of teaching and research in applied universities and assisting in the construction of an education powerhouse.
