Research on Innovation and Practice of Mixed Teaching Mode of Public English in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on “Internet +”—Taking Guangxi Modern Polytechnic College as an Example

Abstract: With the development of the Internet, public English teaching is required to keep pace with the times. It needs to change from the traditional teaching mode to the mixed teaching mode, that is, to combine the original vocational English teaching with online teaching on the Internet, explore a new mixed teaching mode, stimulate students'interest in learning, provide students with rich learning resources, facilitate students to carry out personalized learning, and improve students'English learning ability. Taking Guangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College as an example, this paper first expounds the connotation of“Internet +”hybrid teaching of public English in higher vocational colleges, then analyzes the current situation of hybrid teaching, and finally proposes the innovative path of hybrid teaching in order to provide some reference for teachers'teaching.
