Abstract: In the digital age, the development of digital technology has had a significant impact on higher education, and the widespread application of digital technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to teaching. The improvement of digital literacy among university teachers not only contributes to the enhancement of their professional competence and career development, but also plays a key role in promoting the digital transformation of higher education and cultivating innovative talents that can adapt to the future society. This article delves into the role of digital literacy among university teachers in teaching innovation, analyzes the existing problems of digital literacy among university teachers, and finally proposes a path for improving digital literacy among university teachers, which can provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the improvement of digital literacy among university teachers.
