Research on the Integration of “Industry, Academia, and Research” from the Perspective of Innovation Ecosystem to Empower “Double Innovation” Education in Universities

Abstract: The integration of “industry, academia and research” has provided a new idea for the paradigm reform of university innovation and entrepreneurship education in the new era. Based on perspective of the innovative ecosystem, this study analyzes the shortcomings and classic models of China's integration of “industry, academia, and research” in empowering innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the analysis of domestic practical experience this paper proposes optimization strategies and suggestions for the integration mode of “industry, academia and research” and the deepening reform of university innovation and entrepreneurship education from three aspects: perfecting cultivation mechanism of “industry, academia, and research” collaborative innovation, utilizing the cultivation carrier of “industry, academia, and research” collaborative innovation, and refining the cultivation mode of industry-education-research innovation.
