Abstract: Through a questionnaire survey of 1 100 people including counselors, middle-level management cadres, administrative teaching assistants, and professional teachers in 30 provinces of China, it was found that the professionalization and specialization of counselors face complex professional backgrounds and hindered development; The structure of the counselor team is unreasonable and needs further optimization and adjustment; The promotion path for counselors is not smooth, and their enthusiasm is easily reduced. By implementing strict entry standards, regulating strict admission procedures, strengthening training measures, and improving classification and grading, standardize incentive mechanisms, optimize assessments method, and take various measures to enhance the professionalization and specialization of counselors, promoting their development towards specialization.
