Abstract: Career planning is an important course to help students in higher vocational colleges clarify their personal career goals and improve their comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness. From the perspective of the institute of industry, according to the needs of the industry for talents, combined with the learning situation of the students majoring in intelligent electrical engineering and the ability requirements of the posts in the intelligent electrical industry, and based on the current situation of the teaching of the career planning course and the existing problems, this paper probes into the four aspects of the course content, teaching methods, teachers'team and whole-process career guidance, and puts forward specific and operable teaching reform strategies.
