New Module Construction of “Source-Storage-Exhaust-Wise” Curriculum for Energy and Motion Majors in the Background of “Double Carbon”

Abstract: The“dual carbon”goal is driving widespread and profound changes in China's energy structure, and various regions, fields, and industries urgently need low-carbon related professional and technical talents. Based on the national“dual carbon”goals and the requirements of new engineering construction, as well as the specific requirements of industrial technology development for graduates' knowledge, abilities, and qualities, the energy and power engineering major explores the combination of professional education and national strategic needs, and establishes the“new energy- energy storage - low emissions - human intelligence”and“dual carbon”elective course modules, providing talent guarantee for the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the energy and power engineering industry, assist the industry in achieving the“dual carbon”goal.
