Design and Implementation of University Seminar Course Based on Flipped Classroom

Abstract: Seminar course refers to a comprehensive course specially set up on the basis of systematic knowledge, which focuses on problems, guides students to study independently, discuss in group, and cultivate students' thinking ability. The way of seminar course design and implementation is to set the discussion theme of each chapter, discuss a series of problems in group, and carry out the discussion and report step by step, finally the teacher summarizes the speech and answers the doubts. The reform has achieved good teaching results. The problem that needs to be further improved is that students do not read the materials fully in advance before discussion, do not prepare enough, and there is still silence during discussion.
