Exploration on the Construction of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Curriculum System for Special Education Majors——A Case Study of Nanjing Normal University of Special Education

Abstract: Innovation and entrepreneurship education is not only an important way to cultivate students' innovative spirit but also the internal driving forces of comprehensively implementing the internal driving force of the construction of national innovation. As an important component of China's higher education system, a dual-creation education curriculum system for special education remains its early and experimental stage. Taking a typical example of Nanjing Special Education Normal College, this study focuses on teaching objectives of the curriculum and thus the explores the construction strategy of the innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum system of the special education major based upon the principle of top-level design and the principle of comprehensive design as well as the principle of diversified design. Meanwhile, it would internalize students' innovative thinking and entrepreneurial ability by integrating innovation and entrepreneurship knowledge and practical skills into the teaching of special education professional courses. The shortcomings and prospects of current studies on the current special education professional innovation and entrepreneurship education curriculum are finally proposed.
