Abstract: Solid Waste Treatment and Disposal is a main professional course for environmental, chemical and other related majors. In order to give full play to the role of specialized courses in ideological and political education and implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on "curriculum ideology and politics", in view of the embarrassing situation of "thinking about politics for ideological and political reasons" temporarily existing in the current professional courses, this paper takes the ideological and political construction of the course Solid Waste Treatment and Disposal as an example. Through the flipped classroom teaching model, professional classroom teaching and ideological and political education are skillfully integrated, aiming to achieve the dual teaching goals of ideological and political education while completing the dissemination of professional knowledge and ability cultivation.
