Research on the Practical Path of Immersive Spiritual Education Base by Virtual Reality Technology

Abstract: In order to make good use of the “red resources”, to carry forward and pass on the tradition of revolution as well, with the social survey conducted, virtual reality technology is applied to build immersive red education bases for innovation on ideological and political education. Taking martyr memorial facilities in Yan'an and Nanhu as examples, through the virtual simulation involved integration of image, sound, and other elements, the audio-visual language has enabled the reproduction of real scenes online, effectively to drive observers' cognitive expression. The practical application of virtual reality technology in the development of historic relics resources, can explore the feasibility of teaching-method innovation in ideological and political education, and make more exploitation of distinctive red- cultural resources, along with the new cognitive model of “practice-reconstruction-reflection-experience-acquaintance” in ideological and political education coming into being.
