The Exploration and Application of Participatory Teaching in the Basic Course of Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Abstract: As innovation and entrepreneurship education has become an important part of higher education in China, the establishment of innovation and entrepreneurship basic courses provides an effective way to cultivate and exercise students' innovation and entrepreneurship consciousness and develop the practice mode of innovation and entrepreneurship education. However, in the actual teaching process, it is not difficult to find that there are some problems and challenges in the teaching of the basic course of innovation and entrepreneurship, such as the lack of enough attention to innovation and entrepreneurship, the weak ability of students to participate in practice, and the weak faculty. The participatory teaching can enhance the interaction between teachers and students with the actual problem situation, and promote the construction of basic courses of innovation and entrepreneurship from the aspects of guiding to establish the correct concept of innovation and entrepreneurship, improving the assessment and evaluation, and strengthening the curriculum.
