Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy and the continuous improvement of social requirements for talents, the requirements of Chinese society for higher education are also constantly improving. At the same time, the increasing popularity of higher education also poses new challenges to the cultivation of talents in Colleges and universities. This paper first analyzes the significance of the cooperation of production, teaching and research in local applied research universities in China, then analyzes the problems existing in the cooperation of production, teaching and research in current applied research universities. Finally some corresponding solutions are put forward.
