Abstract: This article focuses on the case teaching of vocational mathematics, using knowledge modules such as“function extremum problem”and“probability and statistics application”as examples to explore the application of case teaching method. By creating real case scenarios to stimulate students'exploration motivation, using three-dimensional analysis models and layered case analysis, it deepens students'understanding of mathematics, drives students to independently model and optimize solutions, and helps them internalize and transfer knowledge. The aim is to solve the problems in traditional vocational mathematics teaching, enable vocational students to understand the practical application value of mathematical concepts and principles, and provide reference experience for further improvement of mathematics teaching in the future.
