Abstract: Against the backdrop of continuous innovation in the field of education, deep learning theory provides new ideas for instructional design. This article elaborates on the application of the“five dimensional three stage”teaching model that integrates deep learning and blended learning in operations research courses. By starting from five dimensions: time dimension, knowledge dimension, method dimension, technology dimension, and mode dimension, a three-stage progressive teaching process is constructed before, during, and after class to guide students towards deep learning, cultivate their innovative thinking, deep learning thinking, and ability to solve complex problems. Practice has shown that this teaching model can effectively improve the quality of operations research courses, promote the development of students'comprehensive abilities, and provide useful references for higher education teaching reform.
