Abstract: Against the backdrop of industrial upgrading and vocational education reform, the problem of insufficient compatibility between talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges and the demands of the employment market has become prominent, and the employment guidance curriculum system lags behind the career development needs of students. Based on the perspective of students'career development needs, this research analyzes the restrictive factors that match the talent cultivation goals with market demands and proposes optimization strategies for the curriculum system. By constructing a dynamic demand response mechanism, promoting interdisciplinary integrated teaching, integrating a collaborative network of social resources and embedding the concept of career education, the transformation of the curriculum system from employment skills training to lifelong career development support is achieved. The research provides theoretical and practical references for improving the quality of employment guidance courses in higher vocational colleges and enhancing the adaptability of vocational education.
