Exploration of Vocational Skills Training Path to Expand Students' Employment Space

Abstract: The cultivation of vocational skills not only affects whether workers can smoothly enter the workplace and achieve long-term development, but also affects whether employers can obtain suitable human resources. At present, the demand for vocational skills in the job market is constantly increasing, and students often face problems such as mismatch between skills and job requirements, limited employment choices, etc. Strengthening vocational skills training to further expand students'employment space has become an important direction to enhance talent employment competitiveness. This article first analyzes the significance of expanding the employment space for talents, and then proposes a path for vocational skills training from three aspects: setting up industry-specific skill training camps, establishing skill achievement display and exchange platforms, and promoting credit exchange systems, in order to provide ideas for the improvement of the skill training system in vocational education and help students find better employment.
