Abstract: Internship education, as a key link in engineering education, is of great significance in cultivating students' practical ability and professionalism. Under the background of new engineering education paradigm, traditional engineering undergraduate majors such as mining and civil engineering are facing profound changes. This paper deeply analyzes the role of internship education in the cultivation of new engineering talents, the status quo and problems faced by the traditional engineering internship education system, and puts forward the reform path with the core logic of internship education system-industry-education eco-system-value system, with a view to providing reference to constructing the cultivation path of high-quality engineering talents to support the strategy of new industrialisation.
