Abstract: With the deepening of education reform, the improvement of the quality of early childhood education has become the focus of social attention. As an important region in southwest China, the development level of rural early childhood education in south Sichuan Province directly affects the quality of local children's early education. As an important part of preschool education, scientific literacy puts forward higher requirements for rural preschool teachers. This study mainly uses questionnaire survey and interview method to grasp the current situation of scientific literacy of rural preschool teachers in southern Sichuan, then analyzes the difficulties in their cultivation, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures, with a view to providing references for improving the quality of rural preschool education in this region.
