Reform and Practice of the “Patient Centered” Medical Humanities Curriculum Teaching Model

Abstract: In order to improve the humanistic quality of doctors, the medical humanities curriculum has entered a new stage of reform. Starting from the concept of“patient-centered”, this paper analyzes the role of the reform of the teaching mode of medical humanities curriculum in meeting the requirements of medical development and cultivating high-quality medical talents. Combining with the current teaching situation, this paper proposes a feasible idea for the reform of the teaching mode of medical humanities curriculum, and explores the path to further improve the teaching effectiveness from the perspective of practice. In order to promote the sustainable construction and reform of medical humanities curriculum, humanistic ideas will be deeply integrated into medical professional education.
