Research on the Reform of Teaching Evaluation Mode for College Physical Education Teachers

Abstract: The purpose of this article is to conduct in-depth research on the teaching evaluation mode of physical education teachers in universities, and to reform the problems existing in the traditional mode. By analyzing the current situation and reform principles, a diversified subject system is constructed that includes teacher self-evaluation, student evaluation, peer evaluation, expert evaluation, and parent evaluation. A comprehensive indicator system covering the teaching process and effectiveness is improved, and big data analysis and intelligent evaluation tools are innovatively used. The evaluation results are promptly fed back and applied to teaching improvement. Through this reform, it is expected to promote the development of physical education teaching in universities, promote teachers'professional growth and enhance teaching quality, and achieve the goal of sports education.
